No Boris bounce for Brexit campaign

"My policy on cake is pro having it and pro eating it." - Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson knows how to grab headlines. As soon as Cameron secured his EU deal most key Tory figures were quick to announce their position on the referendum, but Boris made us all wait. Yet, despite all the hype, our first piece today finds his support for Brexit has failed to boost the Leave campaign either in the polls or in the betting markets.

Elsewhere, we hear from Amnesty International's Europe director on why 2015 was a bad year for the protection of human rights. He points to the UK's plans to scrap the Human Rights Act, Europe's response to the refugee crisis and counter-terrorism measures as examples of how laws designed to protect our rights are being undermined.
