Reclaim Politics

Not all politics happens on the campaign trail. Away from the battle buses and the photo-ops there are many major political issues that have been all but ignored over the course of these few weeks. One is the gentrification that is happening across London and other big cities in the UK. Another is Britain's detention programme. Labour's pledge to end the indefinite detention of asylum seekers won't get much attention during the campaign but it is a significant moment all the same.

In the meantime, the campaign continues and we have an exclusive video interview with Green party leader Natalie Bennett, in which we discuss the debates, her party's manifesto and her future in the party.
