| | Finally After years of policy reviewing we finally get a look at Labour's 2015 manifesto. So what's in it? Actually not much. The party is making the centre-piece of the document its financial responsibility, so everything in there is apparently costed - although there are a few policies relying on our old friend 'clamping down on tax avoidance'. Labour is being quite daring by using the area it is perceived to be the most vulnerable and putting it right on the first page of its proposals to the country, but the risk is obvious: to an already underwhelming campaign they are now adding an underwhelming manifesto. Elsewhere in the document we've spotted some interesting movement on drugs, press ownership and child poverty. There's also the party's dodgy promises north and south of the border to discuss, along with an anti-Tory vote swapping programme and an analysis of the NSPCC's mess with its pornography report. | | Latest Articles On Apr 13, 2015 12:49 pm Labour pledges to end the power of media barons Read more... » On Apr 13, 2015 11:11 am Labour's Scottish campaign accused of misleading Scots Read more... » On Apr 13, 2015 08:58 am Last month's report on children's access to online porn showed a charity tarnishing its brand with imaginary research Read more... » On Apr 13, 2015 12:57 pm Labour's manifesto says it will "never forget" the importance of tackling child poverty - but is not extending the 2020 target.
