Owen Smith has come under fire a number of times for making comments which some have claimed are sexist. Speaking to Politics.co.uk today, Smith said a tweet he sent earlier this year suggesting Nicola Sturgeon should eat a gobstopper was "just political banter". He also denied he had a problem with women saying that lots of women worked for his campaign.

Next up, we look at the outrage against Keith Vaz since the Mirror published a report on his alleged use of sex workers and drugs, over the weekend. This piece argues that what the MP is alleged to have done is none of our business and is of no consequence to anybody other than his family and himself.
