It’s now clear David Davis has no idea what he’s doing

"The great menace to progress is not ignorance but the illusion of knowledge" - Daniel J. Boorstin

David Davis has had plenty of time over the summer to master his brief but our first piece today suggests that the Brexit minister's recent performance in the Commons shows he hasn't got a clue what he's doing. It argues that he either doesn't have the discipline and intelligence to stick to the Number 10 script, or he's intentionally pulling away from May's position in a bid to force her into a hard Brexit.

And, Jeremy Corbyn may have just knocked the Brexit flotilla off the top spot for the most surreal political event we're likely to see. Our next piece reports from yesterday's press conference held by the Labour leader and the 80s reggae act UB40. Nobody is entirely sure why Corbyn wanted to do this but he seemed to enjoy it.
