The attacks on Sadiq Khan shows Labour has given up on winning

You would think Sadiq Khan is just the type of person to be popular among Labour activists and party members. After all, he's working class, left-wing and has just beat the Tories in the London mayoral election. But he now faces a backlash from Corbyn supporters after backing Owen Smith in the leadership contest. Our first piece today suggests that the reaction to Khan's comments shows that the party is now permanently divided between those who care about winning and those who don't.

Next up we look at Labour's response to Brexit. This piece finds that the party - even more even than the Tories - seems intent on making sure we undergo a hard Brexit rather than a soft one. It suggests that instead of fighting for the British national interest, it's lending a helping hand to the most dangerous right-wing plot in a generation.
