With a new poll suggesting Jeremy Corbyn is on course for a landslide victory over Owen Smith, our first piece today takes a closer look at the findings of the poll and asks what's next for Labour. Could there be a second leadership challenge or is the party now heading for a split?

Brexiters often try to squash criticism of their case for leaving the EU as unpatriotic or as "doing Britain down" but our next piece argues that it is often those who shout the loudest about their love of country who end up causing it the most harm. It suggests that Britain is now the political laughing stock of the world and that it's the self-proclaimed "patriots" who turned us into a joke.
