Sadiq Khan's slow start

With Labour's woes look set to continue indefinitely, Sadiq Khan is likely to remain the party's most powerful and prominent politician. Today marks the end of his first 100 days as London mayor. While he has so far made no major mistakes in the job, there have been few significant achievements either. Today we go through his rather brief record in the job and ask whether he really is a step forward from his predecessor.

Today we also take a look at a new report which examines the potential economic impact of heavy post-Brexit restrictions on immigration. The Resolution Foundation report finds that any marginal benefits on the incomes of lower paid workers would be more than offset by the wider damage to the UK economy.
