| As we reach the final stretch of the Brexit referendum, we've launched a daily live blog to keep you up to date with all the developments. Today's main story is that Baroness Warsi has broke with the Leave campaign over anti-immigrant rhetoric and switched to Remain. A number of Brexiters have hit back by suggesting she was never involved with them in the first place. Since the campaigns kicked off we've heard lots about splits within the Conservative party but a division among the Greens helps symbolise opposing views over the EU on the left. Today Jenny Jones, a Green member for the House of Lords, has written for Politics.co.uk about her views on the referendum and how they are out of step with her party. She believes the EU is contributing to the problem of political alienation and will be voting to leave. |
