It's time for an immigrant strike

Ever since the EU referendum, the rhetoric from some politicians and parts of the press has led to immigrants in the UK feeling as if they are not welcome. So perhaps Britain needs to see just how impossible it would be to function without them. Our first piece today explores this idea and highlights a planned day of protest to show the contribution immigrants make.

And, we report that Labour's candidate in the Richmond by-election has suggested that the party could block Brexit. Christian Wolmar has told Politics.co.uk that Labour MPs could have little choice but to take a 'principled' stance and oppose the triggering of Article 50.
