How domestic violence victims face homelessness

Local councils and women's refuges are often the first places victims of domestic abuse will turn to when escaping an abuser. But our first piece today looks at how, at a time when women's services are being cut and local authorities have a massive shortage of housing, some women are faced with the impossible choice of staying in an abusive relationship or ending up on the streets.

Elsewhere, controversy surrounding the international trade deal TTIP, has been brewing for some time but our next item suggests that following a leak of damaging documents, European governments are finally waking up to the growing public opposition.
