This morning we report on evidence given to the Home Affairs Select Committee by legal experts and academics about the proposed blanket ban of legal highs. MPs were told that the ban would be unworkable and could put lives at risk.

Elsewhere, we have a story about comments made by the Tory MP Heather Wheeler in which she said the SNP 'need to be on their planes back' to Scotland. This came as MPs prepared to vote on restricting the rights of non-English MPs.
