Has Tory secrecy on tax credits come back to haunt them?

"There's always cause for concern if bad policies are pursued." - Jack Kemp

Today we have a piece about a possible Lords rebellion over cuts to tax credits. It suggests that if the government had been honest about the cuts in the first place, the Lords would be powerless to stop them now.

Elsewhere, the journalist and campaigner Jane Fae writes about Britain's energy deal with China. She says the government has signed up to decades of expensive nuclear power at a time when solar power is beginning to break through in other European countries.

And the Green MEP, Keith Taylor, has written a piece about the EU subsidies which support the bullfighting industry.
