Does Jeremy Corbyn have any interest in reaching past his core support?

"A politician needs the ability to foretell what is going to hapen tomorrow, next week, next month, and next year. And to have the ability afterwards to explain why it didn't happen" - Winston Churchill

Today, we have a piece which looks at Jeremy Corbyn's appointment of Seumas Milne as his executive director of strategy and communications. It asks if the decision to employ a hard-left Guardian columnist is a sign that the new Labour leader is not interested in reaching out beyond his core support.

We also bring you our verdict of this week's PMQs. We felt Corbyn delivered a confident performance but that he failed to effectively use follow-up questions.

Elsewhere, we report on comments made by Boris Johnson, in which he suggested 'Corbynistas' were to blame for the recent attack on the cereal cafe in London.

We also have an article about the Chinese president's visit to the UK. It calls on David Cameron to make his conversations with Xi JinPing about human rights public.

And we have a piece written by the Welsh Conservative leader Andrew RT Davies who says that while politicians are obsessed with constitutional issues in Wales, the health service is being run into the ground.
