Despite the media frenzy surrounding Jeremy Corbyn there has been very little criticism of what he actually thinks, so this morning we take a closer look at some of his ideas. The attacks on the new Labour leader have been savage but before long people will be forced to offer arguments alongside their rage.

We also ask what Corbyn's education policy looks like. In a piece written by the editor of SchoolsWeek we look at the appointment of Lucy Powell as shadow education secretary and Corbyn's views on academies and tuition fees.

And finally, we carry an article which suggests Corbyn is right to be wary of the EU as it is an instrument for austerity.
