It's almost the weekend so we've selected our five most-read articles of the week for you to enjoy at your leisure.

  • Despite all the attacks on Jeremy Corbyn this week there has been very little criticism of his actual views. We looked at some of the issues that need to be debated.
  • Corbyn's shadow cabinet was ridiculed before it was even finished. His decision to appoint John McDonnell as shadow chancellor has given the right plenty of ammunition against him but in this article we suggested it's his choice of Andy Burnham as shadow home secretary that is his big mistake.
  • Next is our live coverage of the new Labour leader's debut at PMQs. Did his idea of crowdsourcing questions from the public unsettle the PM?
  • In this piece we predicted that Jeremy Corbyn will far exceed the low expectations imposed on him.
  • And finally, our most-read article of the week looked at how Corbyn's massive victory will change the Labour party and suggested that the scale of his win is the final insult to Tony Blair.
