Only Corbyn can save the Union

"You can't create a political movement out of pabulum" - Robert Reich

This morning we look at the new Scottish Labour leader's performance on the Today programme and suggest she is making the same old mistakes of the past. Kezia Dugdale refused to adopt any strong political positions and avoided giving clear yes or no answers to straightforward questions. If she continues like this it's hard to see how she will win back the thousands of voters who switched to the SNP at the last election. Meanwhile, Jeremy Corbyn has been holding packed out rallies in Edinburgh and Glasgow. So with Dugdale failing to impress, is Corbyn the only Labour politician capable of saving the Union?

Elsewhere we report on comments made by Boris Johnson in which he blamed the failure to bring in the night tube on the rise of Jeremy Corbyn. Talking to LBC, the London mayor suggested that Corbynmania has encouraged union leaders to be more militant.
