Why the attacks on Jeremy Corbyn are failing

"In order to remain true to oneself one ought to renounce one's party three times a day." - Jean Rostand

The rise of Jeremy Corbyn shows no sign of abating with a new poll suggesting he will win the Labour leadership contest by a landslide. But as his support grows, so to do the attacks on him. Yesterday, Alastair Campbell wrote a blog post urging members to back "anyone but Corbyn". It seems unlikely this will do anything to slow Corbynmania, after all no similar attempts by Labour establishment figures have succeeded in doing so.

Perhaps the party would do better to look back at it's botched attempt to prevent Ken Livingstone from becoming the Mayor of London to see why the attacks on Corbyn are failing?
