Is Labour 'purging' critical voices?

"Pettiness separates; breadth unites." - Emma Goldman

Today we have the story of a blogger who has been banned from voting in the Labour leadership election because he sent some tweets criticising his local council. This comes as the party faces accusations that it is 'purging' critical voices. The blogger who had intended to vote for Jeremy Corbyn says he is not a member of any rival organisation.

Elsewhere, we hear from the organisation Migrant Voices, on the crisis in Calais. They say that rather than strengthening borders and combatting trafficking, the UK and the EU should be providing a legal route to refugees. They believe governments across Europe must share the responsibility for supporting the migrants.
