The DWP fought for years to keep papers relating to the early days of Universal Credit out of the public domain. With the documents having now been published, it's clear the message coming out of the department in 2012 was very different to what was happening behind closed doors. Our first piece today reports that DWP staff knew of problems with the cost and implementation of the flagship project, despite publicly saying it was "on track and on budget".

Earlier this week, we reported on the findings of a remarkable study on the impact of LSD on the brain. Now, we bring you a first hand account from one of the subjects who took part in the experiment. He explains in extraordinary detail what it's like to trip inside a MRI machine.

If you missed our coverage of yesterday's PMQs, you can catch up with it here. This week we decided to take a closer look at the claim made by the SNP's Angus Robertson that there are ten times as many DWP staff looking into benefit fraud, than there are HMRC staff investigating tax evasion. The figures Robertson quoted were startling but were they actually true?
