Well, that's that. We didn't see that coming. Nothing that we thought was true. Everyone was wrong. The Conservatives have done the unthinkable and increased their share of the vote to secure a majority. It's been a long, hard night, full of extraordinary drama. Arguably, it was the most eventful night in British politics in a lifetime. If you want to see how it happened, follow our epic 16-hour live blog.
