The biggest stumbling block Sadiq Khan has faced in his campaign to become London mayor, so far, is over the potential cost of his promised fare freeze. The Labour candidate has faced a series of questions on the issue, after the Transport for London (TfL) boss Mike Brown, reportedly said that Khan's plans would cost far more than estimated. Our first piece today reports that Brown now says that the difference in figures is understandable because of how they were calculated and that Khan's costings are "perfectly legitimate".
