The biggest stumbling block Sadiq Khan has faced in his campaign to become London mayor, so far, is over the potential cost of his promised fare freeze. The Labour candidate has faced a series of questions on the issue, after the Transport for London (TfL) boss Mike Brown, reportedly said that Khan's plans would cost far more than estimated. Our first piece today reports that Brown now says that the difference in figures is understandable because of how they were calculated and that Khan's costings are "perfectly legitimate".

Elsewhere, we look at the impact of the government's plans for non-EU migrants living in the UK, who will be required to earn more than 35k after five years, if they wish to remain here. In our latest video, Sharmin from Kuala Lumper and Sum Sze from Hong Kong explain how they feel about the changes and how they are likely to be affected by them.
