Could we be seeing the demise of London's famous black cab trade? Our first piece today suggests we could. It reports that the London mayor, Boris Johnson, has today thrown out a series of proposals which would have restricted the Uber booking app. It's the latest disappointment for black cab drivers in a bitterly fought battle with the private hire firm.

If you just missed PMQs, you can catch up with the highlights and read our verdict of it here. It found that David Cameron's performance was an improvement on recent sessions and suggested that Jeremy Corbyn should stick to issues which are on the same side as public opinion.

And finally, we have a piece which looks at the connection between low-paid work and the gender pay gap. It suggests that for too long, women at the bottom end of the labour market have been ignored and that without some good old-fashioned class analysis, the debate over the issue will continue to offer them very little.
