The butchering of 47 people is the kind of sick act we have come to expect from Isis, an act which had it been carried out by the terror group, the government would surely have condemned in the strongest terms. But when it happens at the hands of an ally to the UK, the response is quite different. Today we have a piece which compares the reactions from the government to the recent Saudi executions, with the reaction from Jeremy Corbyn. It suggests that on this issue Cameron's response is not only morally wrong but also strategically dangerous. |
