Corbyn's conspiracy cult

Corbyn's war with the BBC

Labour's row with the BBC over their broadcast of the resignation of Stephen Doughty from the shadow front bench last week, has rumbled on for another day following our interview with John McDonnell yesterday, in which the shadow chancellor accused the editor of the Daily Politics of deliberately trying to damage Jeremy Corbyn. Today we ask whether the party has lost its way over the row and allowed it to obscure much bigger issues for the party and the country.

One of the biggest issues facing the Labour movement right now is the Trade Union Bill which seeks to both reduce the right to strike and the funding of the Labour party. We carry a piece today arguing that the bill is a deliberate attack on workers' rights at a time when they already face cuts to their pay and conditions.

Those returning to work last week will have noticed yet another year-on-year rise in transport fares. Today we publish a video report investigating the rises and talk to leading transport experts and politicians about why the cost of commuting just keeps on going up.

Finally we have a profile of the new Northern Ireland first minister Arlene Foster. There has been little coverage of Foster this side of the Irish Sea, but she faces a difficult task, taking up the job just months away from crucial Assembly elections and the upcoming EU referendum.
