In recent years we have heard a lot about the individual impact of welfare reforms but very little on the cumulative effect of the changes. Elsewhere, we look at claims by the SNP that a fall in car thefts shows that they are making Scotland safer. The piece highlights how there was almost an identical fall in England and Wales and suggests that it has far more to do with changes by vehicle manufacturers than it does with Nicola Sturgeon's government.
