Until recently the views of the Stop the War coalition were not really all that important but because of its ties to Jeremy Corbyn it is now coming under much closer scrutiny. Our first piece this morning looks at what the group really stands for and suggests that if the Labour leader truly cares about peace he should distance himself from the organisation. Elsewhere, we hear from the NUS who are lobbying MPs in parliament today about cuts to student maintenance grants. They say that the cuts, together with tuition fees and rising living costs, will saddle the poorest students with mortgage levels of debt. |
