Safe spaces are risking our tradition of open debate

Universities and colleges are regularly coming under attack for either allowing or not allowing figures who may have made controversial comments in the past, to speak at events. Our first piece today suggests safe spaces are wrong and looks at why it's so important to safeguard our history of free and open debate.

Elsewhere, we have a piece on Tony Blair's evidence to the Foreign Affairs Select Committee on Libya. It finds his comments on the need for evolution rather than revolution to be correct but suggests this must include the West working with Islamists to secure peace in the Middle East.

And, we have a personal take on the impact government plans to end lifetime council tenancies will have on working class communities.
