Opportunism make us accomplices in Isis' terror

"Some do it out of conviction, and there are others who do it out of political opportunism." - Jack Orr

Today we bring you a piece which looks at the reactions to the horrific attacks in Paris. It suggests that the rush by some on the left and right to make political capital out of the events plays right into the terrorists' hands. It says the only moral response to a such a tragedy is one of sadness and horror, a fast-moving police investigation, and a calm analysis of what can be done to prevent similar attacks in the future.

Elsewhere, we have a piece written by the End Child Poverty coalition. It calls on the House of Lords to block the government's plans to scrap child poverty measures.

And we speak to a couple who are being kept apart by the government's immigration rules. As they approach their third wedding anniversary, they're hoping their fight to be allowed to live together in the UK may soon be over.
