Today we have a piece which looks at the ways language can facilitate political discussion and suggests that Jeremy Corbyn's appeal has as much to do with his use of language as it does his policies.

Elsewhere, we have an article which looks at the government's drug policies. The writer suggests that as the case for drug prohibition has fallen apart, those who support it are coming up with ever more imaginative ways to justify it.

And we have a piece by the writer Jane Fae about the treatment of Tara Hudson, and the response to it by the prisons minister.
