Extra! Extra! Meet the AllBusiness Daily News Blog

Some knowledge is timeless, as true then as it is now. In fact, we like to think that a lot of the advice and suggestions AllBusiness provides small business owners fits this description. But starting this week, our site is also the place to go for up-to-date insights on how the latest world events influence the decisions facing your small business.

On Monday, we launched the AllBusiness Daily News. Every business day, AllBusiness connects you to the most important stories of the day and weighs in on how this news could affect you and your business. And it's not just "small business" stories, but big, high-profile events that small business owners need to know about immediately.

To make it happen, we've engaged Heather Clancy and Brian Proffitt, two experienced journalists with deep expertise in both news and small businesses. Week to week, Heather and Brian will alternate bringing their seasoned perspectives and personal insights to bear on the news that matters most to small business owners. They'll tell you what happened and why it matters.

Heather has already got things off to a running start, bringing you up-to-date on the small business implications of
Florida's new immigration law and the challanges it poses for small businesses
The latest Census results
Hitting the debt ceiling
The demise of Osama Bin Laden

As always, we look forward to your feedback, so please feel free to drop us a line at editorial@allbusiness.com
